Job Title: SDE II (Web Developer) Job Location: Bellevue, WA Duration: 8 month (Potential Contract to hire) Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities: The Client’s team is looking for a talented Software Development
Engineer to build the next generation Partner Portal. On this team,
you will utilize your critical thinking and technical skills to
help directly drive Client’s success and will be instrumental in
leading Client’s expansion into critical partnership and affiliate
businesses including co-Branded relationships, Metasearch
Partnerships, and other critical external and internal
relationships. General Responsibilities: • Design, develop, debug, and modifies components of software
applications and tools. • Drive technical direction at the application/product level for
small to mid-sized projects. • Design, spec, schedule and provide quality implementation of a
component or feature (typically 1-3 months in duration). • Provide alternative solutions to a given problem. Resolve
problems and roadblocks, with management assistance if
required. • Follow through on details and drive issues to closure.
Complete documentation and procedures for installation and
maintenance. • Actively participate in group technology reviews to critique
work of self and others. • Work collaboratively with all members of technical staff. • Collaborate with program management and testing peers in the
development of assigned components. • Participates in and provides input to requirements definition.
Usually provides solid judgment calls and tradeoff analysis Required Skills: Qualification: • Proficiency in Java and Spring MVC framework. • Good Web development experience required. • .NET experience is also acceptable. • Expertise in HTML / CSS / JavaScript / JQuery. • Knowledge of server side design patterns and practical
application. • Mastery of cross browser compatibility. • Mastery of client-side optimization best practices and
tools. • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and
continuous delivery principles. • Able to work closely with and incorporate feedback from other
engineers and product owner. • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent degree. Responsibilities: • Design and lead the development of new portals. • Have a strong eye for the operational aspects of the platform
such as deployment, performance tuning and monitoring. • Deliver a lot. Use your ingenuity, first class engineering
skills and deep technical knowledge to deliver features and
improvements efficiently. • Work with our customers to help them adopt our features. • Interact with Program Managers and Test Engineers to
contribute to and review functional specifications and test
cases. • Be a role model to the other engineers. Demonstrate leadership
and ownership by example. • Influence the engineering practices within and beyond the
