Job Title: QA Manager Job Location: Seattle, WA Duration: Full Time Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities: • Develop and implement test resource strategy. • Develop and manage to work plans to support multiple projects;
proactively adjust as priorities and timelines shift. • Routinely multitask from the tactical to the strategic as well
as from leader to manager to individual contributor all in a fast
paced and dynamic environment. • Work closely with technology and project management to ensure
appropriate application, user acceptance, performance and
end-to-end integrated testing is conducted. • Work closely with QA vendor and development organizations to
implement test process definition, test demand management,
appropriate testing support, automated testing. • Create and oversee testing processes and procedures for
sustainment including risk assessment, merge validation, metrics
collection, and resource allocation. • Analyze current testing coverage and identify areas for test
improvement by implementing traceability, automated testing,
repeatable test practices and metrics. • Create and maintain quality standards. Display leadership in
automating QA processes, improving QA productivity and reducing
bugs. • Participate in and support technology process development,
planning and execution (e.g. change management, defect management,
development methodology). • Direct the daily operations of the Quality Assurance team.
This is to include training, guiding, mentoring, and coaching
testing staff, as well as goal setting and performance
management. • Manage relationship with testing vendor(s); regularly assess
performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement Required Skills: • Strong test management experience (5-7 years) in a commercial
software environment • Good knowledge of C#, Selenium, open source tools, JIRA,
Bamboo, bash script. • Demonstrated resource management and vendor management
expertise • Experience in implementing testing within organization • Sound understanding of formal testing methods and
practices • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple testing
projects with competing priorities • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written
and oral • Deadline conscious with strong drive and ability to work well
