Job Title: Build Engineer Job Location: Seattle, WA Duration: Fulltime Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities: Build
out development and test environments as an integral part of the
Software development Life Cycle. Ensure the environment
configurations are functioning correctly and as expected,
troubleshooting errors and issues to resolution. • Coordinate and communicate with developers, project managers,
testers, and infrastructure team for build related activities. • Perform builds and deployments to development and test
environments. • Verify environments are functioning correctly. • Provide troubleshooting expertise and drive resolution for all
issues in DEV and Test environments and other environments on an
as-needed basis. • Define, update and maintain environment and software build
procedure documentation. • Develop and maintain build scripts to support automated build
and deployments processes. • Provide build and deployment status to the applicable
teams. • Ensure changes and version status information is available to
those affected. • Support version control application users. • Assist in deployment of all releases to the production
site. • Train and mentor team members on process and technologies used
to support development and releases • Maintain physical architecture diagrams for dev and test
environments • Assist in day to day SCM activities, including code merging,
versioning and general code maintenance. • Ensure changes are merged and installed into appropriate
codelines and environments as needed. • Assist in physical and functional software configuration
audits. • Participate in project environment analysis activities. Required Skills: • Min 3 years experience in IT Build Engineer /
Deployment Engineer. • Solid experience with implementing and maintaining
Automation. • Experience in migration between dissimilar build/configuration
environments and tools. • Experience with MS VisualStudio.Net, Team Foundation Server
(TFS), VSTS, .Net Framework, asp.net • Experience with Atlassians Bamboo, Stash and Jira ( Chef,
Git/GitHub, Jenkins experience a plus). • Experience with deploying and configuring web-applications
(IIS, Apache.) • Experience with scripting in Powershell (understanding of
VisualBuildPro a plus) • Experience with virtual servers. VMware preferred. • Experience configuring load balancers, F5 knowledge a
plus. • Experience with administering Windows Servers (Linux Servers a
plus). • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple and substantially
different builds or deployments. • Working knowledge of Software Engineering and SDLC best
principles. • Must be self-starter and work effectively with minimal
supervision. • Continually exploring new methods and tools, and taking the
initiative to implement. • Ability to meet the demands of projects and deadlines
effectively with little or no supervision. • Easily adapts to change in direction. • Experience writing, implementing and maintaining process &
procedures. • Interested in developing professionally in a world class
global digital media organization. • Exceptional professionalism in clear oral and written
communications. • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical
field or equivalent experience. • Must be able to work during off-hours, weekends and/or
holidays when required. Soft Skills: • Exceptional attention to detail. • Ability to optimize and expedite in a fast-paced
