Job Title: SDET Job Location: Bellevue, WA Duration: 9+ Months (Potential Full Time) Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities
Responsibilities: • Schedule and implement automated software tests. • Identify and solve problems at the component or feature
level. • Actively participates in multiple functional areas. • Propose methods for improvements. • Mentor others as necessary. • Understand the needs of customers and of groups dependent on
the work of the team, and uses this understanding to drive test
automation. • Code relatively complex tests to implement a test design. • Set up a test automation and execution framework. • Implement key steps that are used by several test cases. • Put together the key steps to build an automated suite of test
cases. • Execute test cases and report results, collect metrics around
testing, and create and manage testing schedules. • Involved from product inception, proactively look for
potential quality issues, and contribute to Technical Reviews and
Root Cause Analysis sessions. • Proactively identify and build effective solutions to complex
technical problems. • Work on the checkout path that offers customers the widest
range of payment options available online to buy travel. • Drive improvements to our testing strategy for UI automation
and unit testing in the JavaScript and Java layers. Required Skills: • 4+ years of relevant work experience,
including software development and/or test automation experience -
Required • Good knowledge of Java and OOPS concepts - Required • Unit Testing experience - Required • UI test automation experience (i.e. Selenium WebDriver using
Java, Cucumber and Behaviour-driven Development (BDD)) -
Required • Solid understanding of common SWQA and SW development
processes and methodologies - Required • Especially with working in an Agile environment with
continuous integration/continuous delivery best practices -
Required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -
