Job Title: SDET Job Location: Bellevue, WA Duration: 4 - 5 Months (Possible Extension) Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities
Responsibilities: • Works on all stages of a product from conception to
completion. • Knows the business and is aware of how strategies and tactics
work in the marketplace. • Recognized as group expert of a specific feature or component
and contributes this expertise to others. • Detect underlying problems and patterns and looks beyond the
obvious. • Mentors others as necessary. • Can skillfully navigate tough situations both internally and
externally. • Understands the needs of customers and of groups dependent on
the work of the team, and uses this understanding to drive test
automation. • Ability to implement and setup a test automation and execution
framework. • Implements key steps that are used by several test cases. • Puts together the key steps to build an automated suite of
test cases. • Executes test cases and reports results. • Follow through to ensure defects are reported and escalated
appropriately. • Collects and analyzes multiple metrics around testing. • Provides inputs to Development on software design and on ways
to increase product testability to support more extensive test
automation. • Coordinate program level work between onshore and
offshore. • Creates and manages testing schedules. • Proactively looks for potential quality issues. • Moderates Technical Reviews and runs Root Cause Analysis
sessions. • Finds and applies industry standard testing methodologies and
technologies. Required Skills: • 3+ years of experience in testing software in
presentation layer, business logic, or backend services • Solid design and development skills in one or more of the
following: Java, Junit, Watir with Ruby and Cucumber • Excellent problem solving skills and test-engineering
acumen • Experience with: Test design, white box testing, automation,
ownership/drive, working with offshore • Previous work in agile environment preferred • Deep knowledge of Internet technologies is required • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field For Further information regarding the job or to apply please
