SQL Database Developer

Bellevue, WA

Duration:

6+ Month (Open ended contract)

Job Description:

• Analyze and decompose complicated software systems to understand dependencies and vulnerabilities, to most efficiently utilize time and resources for testing.

• Design and execute API level tests for analytic applications, data quality testing, and user-level tests for web applications.

• Build and maintain automated test suites using advanced frameworks.

• Work with Product Development, Product Management, Performance Engineering, and Operations teams to develop innovative testing solutions that meet market and business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Participate in a continuous improvement process based on identifying causes of friction which can be removed by changes in process or technology to maximize the velocity of innovation. Help drive those changes to successful adoption.

Required Skills:

• Strong DEV expertise in SQL 2005/2008.

• Logical / Physical data modeling.

• Advanced SQL and SQL development (data conversion, migration scripts, and triggers).

• Advanced database concepts & Database tuning experience.

• Ability to manage/maintain the database schema in source code control.

• Experience in SOA environment.

• Excellent troubleshooting and good teamwork skills, and the ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects.
