Job Description:
Position: Senior Software Engineer - Technical Consultant
(Seattle, WA) ** Multiple Openings Duties: Perform application design and analysis, project
planning, development, and effort estimation. Review application
functional specifications. Deploy applications to test environments for
Quality Assurance. Perform unit testing of code and peer code modules,
and application code reviews. Conduct QA defect triage and
prioritization. Authorize deployments to customer test environments for Joint
Integration Testing. Perform change requests presentation to Change Review
Board (CRB). Conduct customer interaction and requirements gathering and
analysis. Conduct potential feature opportunities and implementation
reviews with Technical Account managers. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a
related field and three (3) years of experience designing and developing custom
software solutions using J2EE technologies; OR, in the alternative,
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and five (5) years of
experience as indicated above. Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): developing
applications on Linux and Unix operating systems and shell scripts; DE developing
secure applications using certificates and public-private key
encryption; DE developing autonomous continuous integration environments using
Ant, Maven build tool, and Jenkins; and DE designing and developing web
services using SOAP, REST, Spring, and Hibernate on Tomcat, JBoss, and WebLogic
