Software Engineer in Test Bellevue, WA Duration: 9 months (Fulltime for right candidate) Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities: • Participate during all aspects of the product lifecycle from
specification to production release. • Execute functional and regression testing. • Manage test environments, including build, configuration, and
deployment. • Develop automated test tools and assist in the creation and
maintenance of our automation framework. • Identifies own goals and determines how to achieve them; works
independently. • Collects and analyzes multiple metrics around testing.
Provides inputs to Development on software design and on ways to
increase product testability. • Proactively looks for potential quality issues. Moderates
Technical Reviews and runs Root Cause Analysis sessions. Involved
from product inception. • Finds and applies industry standard testing methodologies and
technologies. Has a broad understanding of technologies used within
the company Required Skills: • Strong development experience in C# .NET Required • Experience software testing in large scale transactional web
service environment (automation) Required • Strong experience working with Web Services using HTTP, HTTPS,
SOAP, .Net 4.0, WC Required • Proficiency in SQL Server including queries and stored
procedures; ability to read and understand data models and
relational databases Required • Knowledge of software QA processes, test plans and procedures
Required • Continuous integration experience Required • Experience with TFS Required • Excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent
interpersonal skills Required • Knowledge of Agile development practices and product delivery
cycles Nice to have • Experience working with off-shore teams Nice to have • FIT: Strong in automation testing and eager to contribute in
other ways with development. Able to manage a continuous
