Technical Product Manager Bellevue, WA Duration: 4-18 months (Fulltime for right candidate) Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities: • Evangelize Local Expert technology products and Company brands
value. • Willingness to wear multiple hats and take on any task to help
the team achieve success each sprint. • Foster team self-organization and provide appropriate
situational leadership • Employ conflict management techniques when necessary. • Work closely with product management to understand sprint and
product backlog items, gather detailed functional requirements,
collaborate with UI designers, software design engineers, and
software testers to identify feature details. • Define metrics that measure the quality of each product. • Track burn down daily for scrum team and promote transparent
communication with all stakeholders. • Evaluate product readiness for production deployment. • Educate team and peers on Agile and Scrum practices. • Key player in defining strategy for technology products built
in Local Expert. • Create accurate and consistent documentation. • Interact closely with operations to understand physical
deployment and product release impact to sprint. • Key contributor to continuous process improvement across all
of Local Expert technology. • Work with on and offshore developers, testers, and operations
during implementation in order to get features released to live
site and drive problem resolution once the new feature has gone
live. • Serve as the technical communication focal point between the
Local Expert business and the development and test teams. • Effectively manage trade-offs between cost/schedule versus
customer benefit. Required Skills: • Experience as Project Manager position within a Technical and
Agile environment (scrum preferred) Required • Experience working in an IT space with strong ecommerce
background Required • Experience gathering business requirements and turning them
into detailed functional design specifications Required • Proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the
implementation of new features as well as resolve operational
issues Required • High degree of competency with project management including:
issue and risk identification and management, tracking dependencies
and milestones, etc. Required • Effective communication of overall project status Required • Familiarity with web-based product development including
tiered architecture, data organization, and performance
optimization Required • Knowledge or familiarity with development frameworks such as
Ruby on Rails, PHP and Node.js Required • Understanding of various testing techniques and approaches for
ensuring QA in an Agile development lifecycle Required • Experience working with offshore development teams in an Agile
environment Required • Experience with JIRA or Mingle Nice to have • Experience with externalizing APIs (making API commercially
available to external companies) Required • FIT: Someone who is proactive and able to drive solutions as
well as communicate effectively throughout project and minimizes
