TFS Administrator Bellevue, WA Duration: 5 months (Potential for extension) Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities: Looking for TFS Systems Administrator to manage the team TFS lab
environments. This is a great opportunity to join an innovative,
fast-paced organization providing TFS ownership and expertise for
Client’s ecommerce systems. The systems supported consist of a
large number of servers that make up several environments which
include multiple databases, third-party and custom-built software
applications. The candidate must have a broad technical skill set
and past experience implementing build and deployment
infrastructure solutions in Linux and Windows 2003/2008
environments. • TFS Administration. • Architect, install, update, maintain and scale TFS, SharePoint
and related systems • Manage the configuration and security for TFS and SharePoint
servers, databases, team project collections, team projects, and
project portals • Install, configure and manage build controllers and build
servers • Install, configure and manage Lab Management environment for
virtual machines used for builds and testing • Perform health and performance monitoring of TFS and related
systems • Manage backup and recovery plans for TFS and related
systems • Process Templates • Provide guidance and collaborate with development managers in
the selection and use of process templates • Implement process template customizations • Project Portal (SharePoint) • Develop and manage dashboards and reports for team projects
and other aspects of the TFS system • Work with development mangers to create and configure team
projects, and update team project configurations for
sprints/iterations • Work Item Tracking • Provide guidance and collaborate with development managers in
the selection and use of work items • Version Control • Provide guidance for version control and branching best
practices • Develop and manage version control branching and labeling
strategies • Provide guidance for build and test automation and continuous
integration • Develop and manage automated build, continuous integration and
testing environments. • Develop and manage integration of deployment automation with
production system Required Skills: • Experience configuring, managing, and extending TFS systems.
Required • Experience in software application development including C#,
Java and ASP.NET. Nice to have • Experience implementing continuous integration/continues
delivery models. Required • Able to communicate effectively with non-technical individuals
to determine needs/issues. Required • Able to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously to meet
objectives and/or key deadlines. Required • Prior work with multiple services in a single environment.
Required • Knowledge of SCRUM or AGILE methodologies. Required • Experience configuring, managing, and extending SharePoint
