Software Development Engineer Bellevue, WA Duration: 6-18 months (Fulltime for right candidate) Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities: • Review requirements. • Analyze impacts of new requirements to existing
applications. • Generate solution architecture and high level design
documents. • Estimate level of effort. • Capture and implement technical requirements, such as test
harness, logging, and operation facilitations. • Manage development and test environments, including build,
configuration, and deployment • Support operations. • Participate in development design, code review, test review,
and operation procedure review meetings. • Propose improvements to existing systems; and provide
prototypes for presentations. • Assess technical proposals. • Discuss technical guidance with a team in China when necessary
in evening hours. • Code, unit test, and benchmark-stress test. Required Skills: • Good computing industry experience, preferably within
Information Technology Required • Good experience with Ruby on rails Required • Solid knowledge in Tomcat (or similar J2EE containers), and
its application to enterprise scale application architecture and
ecommerce Required • Spring MVC development experience Required • JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, XML, HTML5, JQuery, JUnit, Hibernate,
and related technologies Required • General knowledge in distributed computing architecture such
as Web Service, SOAP/HTTP or JMS Required • Java, J2EE with UI Experience (JSP, JSTL, etc) Nice to
have • Experience working within a SCRUM team Required • FIT: Someone who is collaborative and can deal with ambiguity.
