Sr. Developer / Tech Lead Bellevue, WA Duration: 6-18 months (Fulltime for right candidate) Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities: • Lead an agile team of engineers (both onshore and offshore)
and play an active role in all aspects of software development from
analysis to design, implementation and release. • Be responsible for the on-time delivery of high quality code
that is scalable and reliable. • Develop SLAs for all products released by your team and work
with our Operations organization to monitor and report on these
SLAs. • Contribute to the Agile backlog planning process by providing
estimates, constraints and sprint schedules. Make appropriate
resource , scope and architectural trade-offs based on these
factors. • Mentor members of the engineering team, guide development
standards , lead code/design reviews and help define our
application architecture. • Provide timely and appropriate communication to business
owners and other stakeholders on issue status and resolution. • Partner closely with operations to ensure seamless deployment
and maintenance of services. • Participate and collaborate in the definition and promotion of
engineering best practices within the organization. Required Skills: • A minimum 2 years’ of experience leading engineering teams
(Ideally this person is currently in a Technical Lead position)
Required • Experience with Java development (currently writing code)
Required • Experience with running a mission critical 24/7 system for an
online business in the last 7 years Required • Experience with high volume transactional web services
Required • Experience developing with windows and C# .NET platform Highly
desired • Experience with running Agile scrum teams and working with
offshore teams Required • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computing related
discipline. Req Graduate degree desirable Required • Excellent organizational and communication skills Required • FIT: Demonstrated maturity, judgment, negotiation and
analytical skills and can communicate with different cultures
