** Signing Bonus** Safety First Driving School is looking for Driving
Instructors! If you can teach and you can drive ~ can you teach people to
drive? Become a Driving Instructor and conduct Behind-the-Wheel driving
lessons to adults and teens while following all teaching methods
established by Safety First Driving School. Use our cars equipped
with extra safety equipment to help train a new generation of
defensive drivers. Training will be provided to the most qualified applicant. Multiple language skills are always appreciated. Required Education/Experience: High School Diploma, a licensed driver in the State of
Washington with a clean driving record of at least five years, a
licensed Washington State Driving Instructor certificate, trained
in Safety First Driving School routes, methods, and teaching
curriculum. Job Duties: Must be responsible for knowing and maintaining individual
driving schedule. Must be punctual, prepared, and alert for every lesson. Must always act in a professional manner, exhibiting excellent
customer service skills. Must be responsible and independent with good judgment,
patience, and a passion for teaching. Must follow all SFDS checklist requirements for each driving
lesson. Must properly obtain and verify Permit numbers and/or
International License Numbers of all students and correctly
document them before every drive lesson. Must conduct Behind-the-Wheel driving lessons following
Washington State laws and regulations and the SFDS teaching
curriculum. Must document all driving progress of teen and adult students on
Drive Score Sheet. Must use your computer skills to enter student information into
various portals and reports. Ensure interaction with student is leading to a verifiable
improvement in student driving. Be a driving mentor and guide to student. Answer questions and
react to situations that arise on the road. Attract new business by impressing every customer of our
dedication to their success. Ask student to complete an on-line review on last day of
lessons. Skills and Qualifications: Strong driving skills, great attention to detail, calm,
personable, respectful, and helpful personality. You must have
great listening skills, with an ability and desire to work with
people of a diverse background to help them learn a new skill and
gain confidence on the road. Other Requirements: A qualified applicant will have general computer skills, a
flexible schedule, be willing to work evenings and weekends when
