Job Description:
Manages outside plant construction and/or rebuild activities, including management of first level manages who supervise craft employees such as OSP and construction engineers. Manages pre-construction activities and may negotiate contracts. Ensures that work processes, standards and master plan are in conformance, and that schedules are adhered to. Reviews work orders, projects and typically has approval authority. Manages interaction and coordination with other departments. Typically has budget and expense control responsibility.Typically reports to second or third level management.Supervisory: YES This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T?s compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
