Talent Acquisition Specialist III/IV (R15-425)

In this position, you will be responsible for recruiting and hiring for select PGE departments, project management and analysis for the Talent Acquisition department regarding process improvement, new technology, new legal requirements, best practices, etc. In addition, you will be responsible for training department staff and PGE managers and supervisors on corporate hiring policies and procedures.

Become part of our journey by:

Providing recruiting and hiring expertise to PGE management in select assigned client areas including complex, technical and management level positions. Research, analyze, and recommend strategies for recruitment and retention of quality hires.

Train department recruiters and/or PGE managers and supervisors on Uniform Hiring Procedures as required of federal contractors and corporate policy. Serve as subject matter expert on staffing-related training and programs such as Leadership Overview, Selection Essentials and other offered courses.

Provide project management expertise to the department and Human Resources as it relates to process, technology or regulatory changes. Research, analyze and recommend needed actions, serving as project lead on new initiatives in the Talent Acquisition area. Where necessary, coordinate with other HR departments and affected departments outside of Human Resources.

Develop and implement corporate procedures, administer programs and represent the company in various staffing-related efforts such as applicant tracking, outage hiring, EEI testing, advertising, managers/supervisors selection training, third party recruiters, Utility Consortium, background investigations, pre-employment testing and the corporate relocation program with other team-members.

The position will be filled at the level commensurate with the knowledge, skills and experience of the selected candidate for the Specialist III or Specialist IV position.

You can bring the following skills to our team:

Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the areas of talent acquisition, diversity recruiting, implementation of best practice recruiting functions and implementing proactive recruiting strategies at a corporate level.

Proven experience developing talent acquisition training for both hiring managers and recruiters.

Excellent management, human relations, conflict resolution, communication, consulting, persuasion and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated analytical skills to provide capability to solve complex problems and make recommendations.

Comprehensive knowledge of EEO law and affirmative action and Code of Federal Regulation Uniform Hiring Practices for federal contractors.

Experience in agency recruiting is preferred.

Union hiring experience is preferred.

Qualified candidates will typically a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Management, or a related field with a minimum of 3 or more years of progressively responsible and directly related experience.
