company? Join our team – apply for a position today. Direct Access Operations Analyst, Specialist IV (R15-534) Support management of relationship with retail Electricity
Service Suppliers (ESSs) that provide power directly to customers
in the competitive marketplace. Set-up, maintains, tests, operates,
and troubleshoots Direct Access systems, including electronic
billing, receivables, electronic payments and remittance, and
credit monitoring. Manage internal and external electronic data
(EDI) exchanges that provide data and/or financial transactions to
or from ESSs. Provide support for contract matters, regulatory
issues, and analysis while interfacing with ESSs in Oregon’s
deregulated retail energy environment, Top candidates will have: •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or
engineering or related field and at least 8 years of experience as
business analyst in Utility industry in regulatory or transmission
areas or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Advanced knowledge of EDI or XML (electronic billing, not
paper) •Intermediate knowledge of SQL as applied to Oracle and MS
Access •Intermediate knowledge of Visio & Crystal Reports •Advanced skills in business analysis - seeking to understand
root causes and requirements •Advanced knowledge of basic testing methodologies. •Working knowledge of deregulation (retail and wholesale) •Advanced knowledge of computer systems and current practices
within information technology. •Working knowledge of Business-to-business billing systems
(rather than end-use customer systems) •Working knowledge of terminology and interpretation of project
