TireBuyer.com, a division of American Tire Distributers is an
Internet-based eCommerce company aiming to become the leading
online retailer in the Tire and Wheel industry. Our goal is to

TireBuyer will lead the industry in providing innovative solutions
to the consumer simplifying a complex shopping cycle that
integrates a national tire purchase with localized install
process. Position Title: QA and Tech Support Senior Manager,
TireBuyer.com Supervisor: Chief Technology Officer, TireBuyer.com Position Purpose: This position will own the QA function including Environments,
Testing, and Deployments. This position will lead the QA function to improve processes,
expedite QA cycles and improve turnaround. This position will manage the QA lifecycle including
communications, planning/schedule, & risk management. This position will reduce the impact of production support
issues on the developers by qualifying the issues, recreating them,
determining severity/priority, and communicating between
stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities: Day-to-day management of the QA & Application Support. Perform quality reviews of design documentation for compliance
with stated requirements. Define and track quality assurance metrics and reporting. Implement and enforce effective responsiveness to reported
production issues. Coordinate with the development team for product deployments and
project dependencies Champion documentation for future self-service and knowledge
sharing Develop and maintain a balance between the need for nimble
organization and high quality of deliverables & service. Key Partners (Positions): Technical Team members Director of Development, Developers,
Technical Architects, Technical Analysts eCommerce & Telesales Business Owners Product Management team Experience(s) that Best Prepares You: Education: BS or MS, in Computer Science or a related
engineering field. Experience: Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience working in
software delivery as a QA manager. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Company, in
its discretion may find appropriate and acceptable. Key Competencies: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing QA and Support teams,
7 years of overall relevant experience. Expertise in effective management, resource and project
planning, team building and track record of successful
delivery. Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, and
attention to detail. In depth expertise in various Software Development Lifecycles
and QA methodologies. Demonstrated ability to effectively interface and collaborate
with direct reports, peers, management, and customers to
successfully meet shifting needs. High energy, self-motivated, results oriented, detailed,
hands-on, flexible and independent with impeccable follow-through,
intuitive judgment, and high standards of quality. Outstanding team player, tenacious, driven, effective in a fast
paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Physical Demands/Work Environment/Travel Requirements: Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the
