ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

Job Description Card Kingdom is seeking an Accountings Payable Clerk for our accounting team. The position will report to our Accounting Manager and work closely with the Senior Accountant and periodically with the Director of Finance. This role requires the employee to demonstrate clear and effective communication skills, building meaningful relationships with stakeholders both outside and within the company.

Responsibilities :

* Review, code, and post all vendor invoices using the company Accounts Payable software, Bill.com. * Code and post invoices paid through auto ACH. * Create rent vouchers for lease payments due and post the vouchers in Accounts Payable. * Upload, code, and post to the General Ledger daily banking transactions from several bank accounts. * Post daily check batch file . * Work with Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager on vendor and coding issues. * Responsible for new vendor setup and vendor account Maintenance. * Respond to vendor inquiries. * Reconcile Accounts Payable account monthly. * Produce and mail 1099s at year end. * Responsible for working the Finance Help Desk and assigning tickets to the appropriate finance personnel. * Responsible for renewing various business licenses. * Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

* At least two years experience as an AP Clerk. * Some experience working with a PO system. * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and with written communications. * Ability to use MS Office at an intermediate level. * Exposure to the use of MS Teams or similar product. * Flexibility to change with shifting priorities. * An effective listener who can take direction and is not afraid to ask questions. * Must be able to perform under stress and meet deadlines. * Must be able to maintain confidentiality. * Some QuickBooks experience would be helpful but not necessary to be considered for this position.
