The successful candidate will provide analytical support to the senior team including assessing new lines of business, financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and external financial reporting.
This role reports directly to the Director of Finance and Accounting and requires a self-starter with strong business modeling skills, keen attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a track record of influencing business decisions. The financial analyst will regularly interact with various business units and support functions across evo which requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to access and synthesize large data sets will be crucial for success.
What you will do

  • Collect and manage financial and operational data; ensuring accuracy, clarity and actionable outcomes.
  • Analyze results, identify and monitor variances and anomalies, and note trends for business unit leaders and management.
  • Participate in annual budget cycle and develop, maintain and publish a robust forecast model.
  • Provide sound financial advice to business units or other departments, anticipating the financial impact of changes in the business environment and making recommendations to improve business outcomes.
  • Play key role in annual budgeting process. Use past financial performance and costs to work directly with cost center managers in creating and proposing annual budgets.
  • Prepare quarterly board packages and internal financial reporting in support of the quarterly and annual planning cycle.
  • Develop proforma projections for new business lines including new store locations and acquisitions
  • Develop, review, analyze and maintain performance measurement baselines
  • Partner with key stakeholders to assist in the development of business process documentation for large/complex processes.
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested
    What you will need
    • Bachelor's Degree - finance or accounting preferred
    • 3+ year's analytical experience - retail and or digital verticals preferred.
    • Expertise in and working knowledge of financial modeling and GAAP standards
    • Preferred: Prior experience with Netsuite
    • Proficient in Excel and tabular modeling
    • Attention to detail and deadline-oriented
    • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
    • Work independently as well as in a team environment
