Controller OVERVIEW: Anavasi Diagnostics is a rapidly growing
medical technology company focused on saving lives by developing
novel molecular diagnostic testing using a proprietary
patent-pending reverse transcriptase methodology. It was founded by
world-leading university researchers, top medical device and
clinical diagnostics executives, manufacturing experts and a former
Microsoft software veteran. The team---s combined experience has
been responsible for the introduction of more than forty
medical/diagnostic products and hundreds of peer-reviewed research
publications. Anavasi is the recipient of a $14.9 million award
from the NIH---s Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx)
initiative. Anavasi has separately raised $8.6M in private
investment, and is in the process of raising a Series A round.
Anavasi has developed the AscencioDx-- molecular detector. The
AscencioDx-- is a diagnostic device that gives
laboratory-PCR-quality COVID-19 test results in about 30 minutes
for use in clinics, pharmacies, workplaces, schools, public events,
and other places where accurate testing is needed rapidly without
sacrificing accuracy or cost. The COVID-19 test is just the first
in a line of tests contemplated for the AscencioDx platform.

treatment outcomes and ultimately save lives. POSITION: As the
Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller, you will play a key role
in developing and building the accounting team, establishing key
processes and procedures, implementing ERP software, financial
reporting, cash management, tax & audit management, and preparation
& monitoring of budgets and forecasts. You will work closely with
business partners in supply chain, quality, sales, and operations
for continuity and success across the organization. You will report
to the VP of Finance and Accounting. RESPONSIBILITIES: --- Manage
all aspects of accounting: billing, financial statements, general
ledger, cost accounting, payroll, sales commissions, accounts
payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory
accounting, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and various
special analyses --- Establish and maintain key accounting
policies, ensuring compliance with US GAAP --- Oversee payments of
all accounts; ensuring timely and accurate remittances --- Oversee
new customer setup, credit terms, and collections --- Design,
implement and manage inventory cost accounting procedures and
internal controls --- Monitor cash and funding balances --- Prepare
and organize financial statements in accordance with GAAP ---
Prepare quarterly/annual budgets and forecasts --- Help ensure
compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding
finances, tax filings, and reporting --- Key stakeholder /
potential project leader for future ERP implementation --- Organize
information and statements for external auditors --- Other ad hoc
reporting and projects QUALIFICATIONS: --- Bachelor---s degree in
business, accounting, finance or a directly related field --- CPA
required --- 6 years of related progressive experience ---
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability
to effectively interact with business partners --- Detail oriented
and strong analytical and problem-solving skills --- Ambitious
self-starter able to work independently and in a team environment
--- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment --- Advanced
MS Office skills (with emphasis on Excel) --- Experience in
start-up or growth stage company a plus --- Experience implementing
manufacturing ERP systems a plus --- Power BI or Tableau experience
a plus This role will initially be remote/work from home. However,
it is ultimately expected to be in the Redmond area with a hybrid
