Job DescriptionFINANCE SPECIALISTThe Finance Specialist may
perform a broad range of finance-related activities, including one
or more of the following: accounting, payroll, procurement and
financial reporting in line with internal policies and procedures,
as well as any government-administered regulations. This role
reports to the Managing Direct of Finance.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review monthly financial and metric performance to identify key
variances, trends and potential issues that may materially impact
financial performance
- Provide weekly/monthly forecast guidance on key budget areas
and metrics
- Develop tools that will enhance our ability to track financial
data. This includes employee regular hours, incentives, PTO, leaves
and contract changes
- Responsible for the customer invoicing process, ensuring
invoices are developed accurately, issued in a timely manner and
paid according to the agreed timeframes
- Assist in the development and management of the company's
financial budgeting, forecasting, and variance review
processes
- Drive continuous improvements with an emphasis on optimizing
processes, improving productivity and reducing costs
- Act as backup support for the accounts payable process,
ensuring invoices are processed accurately, in a timely manner and
in-line with internal policy and or vendor requirements
- Help maintain payroll process, ensuring payroll is completed on
time, accurately, and stations have the support they need to meet
reporting requirements
- Develop positive relationships with key customers, reinforcing
our commitment to customer service and regularly validating that we
are meeting/exceeding expectations

- Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or
demonstrable relevant experience preferred
- One year (1) of experience working in finance, procurement,
accounting or related fields or applicable education required.
- Knowledge/experience working in financial systems, time &
attendance systems, payroll systems, HR systems, and reporting
systems preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Systems such as Excel, Word,
and Outlook required. Expert proficiency with Excel highly
preferred
- Experience with financial budgeting, forecasting, and variance
review highly preferred
- A high level of detail orientation required
- A self-motivated individual able to work collaboratively in a
team environment
- Excellent written and verbal skills required
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. CULTURE McGee Air
