We are a family friendly culture that supports work life balance. Role: Card Kingdom is looking for the Controller to join and lead our core accounting teams. This new role will focus on building and strengthening our financial accounting and reporting processes, practices, policies, and teams, creating effective controls, workflows, and systems. Working directly with the Director of Finance, you will focus on defining the Finance function future blueprint to enable Card Kingdom Inc. and its lines of business ambitious growth agenda. The role needs to be highly adaptable to change, and able to persuade and drive finance requirements across the company as we continue to expand and evolve the business. Responsibilities:Collaborate cross-functionally to implement new systems and ensure accounting workflow and data flow are documented and fully automated.Implement process and technology improvements to gain efficiencies in accounting process, systems, and reporting.Act as subject matter expert for accounting transaction and system design and controls throughout the company.Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting on standard and ad hoc basis to GAAP standards.Deploy and monitor effective policy, procedures, and controls across all units of the company.Manage and coordinate annual reviews and audits with timely completion.Lead budgeting and cost management across all units of the company.Lead policy development for Finance and AccountingOversee filings of SALT, GST, VAT, and other business tax and licensing. Ensure Capital Project and Capitalizable Asset accounting completed to policy.Partner with Director of Finance on strategic projects and initiatives.Collaborate with internal business partners in Purchasing, E-Commerce, Online Operations, Analytics, Insights & Reporting and Human Resources to integrate, reconcile and automate collection, posting, and reporting of financial data in NetSuite ERP and Power BISupervise Business Systems Manager, Financial Reporting Manager, and Transactions Services Leader and teams.Qualifications:MA/MPAcc in Accounting or equivalent degreeCPA or CMA preferred10 + years' accounting experience with 2+ years at a public accounting firm 4 + years managing direct reports.Proven experience in change management and project management.Experience in e-commerce and/or retail, warehousing, logistics, or similar industries preferredExperience with high volume transaction and large inventory database reconciliations.Comfortable working in fast pace, high change organization.Experience owning and using NetSuite and other business systemsAgility to leverage Microsoft O365 toolkit (Power BI, Excel, etc) to serve customer needsSuperb organization and time management skills.Possess good judgment and leadership traits.Location / Work ScheduleSeattleHybridJob Type / SalaryFull TimeExemptBenefits:Paid Time Off: 5 weeks accrued per year, 4 Company HolidaysHealth Benefits: Zero cost premium options for Medical, Dental, Vision InsuranceRetirement: 401(k) with 4% Safe Harbor match, no vesting periodEmployee Stock Ownership PlanFlexible Spending Accounts & Health Savings AccountsPre-Tax Commuter BenefitsSupplemental Life and AD InsuranceAccident, Critical Illness & Hospital Confinement PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee DiscountEqual Opportunity Employment:We are committed to cultivating a workplace in which diverse perspectives and experiences are welcomed and respected.
