In support of this goal, we are looking for a Staff Accountant to
join our team in our Seattle office. What does the Staff Accountant
do? The Staff Accountant supports the CorneaGen Accounting Team by
ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting ensuring
compliance with GAAP standards and requirements. Specific
responsibilities supporting an accurate and timely monthly,
quarterly, and year-end accounting close, reviewing department
level income statements on a monthly basis to determine needed
accruals and reclasses, supporting weekly cash reconciliations.

know about this position? This is a full-time, salaried position,
working a hybrid schedule with at least two days in-person in our
Seattle office, with the remaining days available to work at
home/remotely. This role is part of a small, highly capable
Accounting team and reports to the Manager, General Ledger. What
are you looking for in the ideal candidate? At CorneaGen, we're

should also be able to demonstrate a similar passion for the
Mission and Values of CorneaGen, including personal support of
organ and tissue donation. In addition, our next Staff Accountant
should also possess the following: - A Bachelor's degree in
Accounting or Finance or similar field. - Although we prefer at
least two years of previous accounting experience in a professional
environment, candidates that can demonstrate knowledge and
understanding of general accounting principles may be considered
regardless of prior experience. - The ability to successfully
utilize an integrated financial system such as
Dynamics/SAP/NetSuite - Intermediate computer skills, including a
demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Suite, especially Excel -
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability
to work well with others in a collaborative and respectful manner.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail - Good time
management and adherence to deadlines - Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task, deal with complexity on a frequent basis. -
Able to arrive for work on time and maintain a good attendance
record. - Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and
