Job Description:
HollyFrontier Corporation is seeking a Manager - Refinery
Accounting in Anacortes, WA. Job Duties Oversee and direct one or
more aspects of the designated accounts department such as Accounts
Receivable/Payable, Operations and/or Yield and/or Fixed Assets
and/or Financial Reporting and/or Movements and Inventory, Crude
Oil Accounting, or Refinery Accounting; assist in the development
of Sarbanes Oxley and other applicable compliance procedures;
ensure that assigned accounting department is accurately tracking
and recording data reported to all areas of the company; develop,
analyze, and generate reports for plant management to review;
review, analyze, and develop solutions for problems and variances
arising within the department; review crude or product inventories,
manage project accounting, and manage general accounting in
assigned area; implement and maintain yield accounting systems;
review the month-end inventory measurement process performed by oil
movements to ensure its completion in accordance with API standards
and internal policy; provide internal and external auditors with
information regarding any refinery accounting issue; assist in
defining and guiding processes around refinery transactions to be
efficiently conducted, consistently applied between departments and
ensure that accounting impact of the transaction is properly
represented and recorded; maintain and review HEP shipper reports;
ensure timely and accurate payments of vendor invoices; maintain
all required reporting work papers as needed in conjunction with
Sarbanes Oxley; assist with final consolidation and close in SAP;
formulate procedures and policies by researching and enhancing
HollyFrontiers current refinery accounting policies as needed, and
administer approved accounting practices for assigned location; and
oversee expense control and reporting, expense budgeting, analysis
including variance explanations, cost control, cost control flashes
and waste reduction. Experience A minimum of ten (10) years of
experience in the job offered or ten (10) years of experience in a
related occupation with leading and directing the work of other
senior associates; utilizing Generally Accepted Accounting
Procedures (GAAP) standards and principles; accounting laws;
implementing pronouncements and regulations pertaining to fiscal
operations; utilizing complex accounting programs; establishing
accounting systems to interpret accounting standards and
regulations and apply advanced theory; performing advanced
mathematical calculations related to financial accounting and
reporting. Education Level Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent
in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or closely related
field. Required Skills Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

salary range includes the minimum, midpoint, and maximum base
salary values. A candidates offer can vary depending on
differentiating factors, including but not limited to education,
training, or experience. This position has a salary minimum of
$117,400 midpoint of $122,400, and maximum of $222,400
