Job Description Job Description Corporate Accountant Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Type: 9-month contract Compensation: $35-$45/hour (DOE) Job Summary Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to support corporate accounting operations with a focus on general ledger activities, month-end close, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for a hands-on accountant who enjoys working in a corporate environment and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial results. CPA is not required. Key Responsibilities Support month-end and quarter-end close processes Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate documentation Perform balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations Maintain accuracy of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP Assist with preparation of internal financial reports Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests Partner with senior accounting and finance team members on reporting needs Assist with process improvements, documentation, and internal controls Support ad hoc accounting projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-5 years of corporate or general ledger accounting experience CPA not required Working knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting principles Experience with month-end close and reconciliations Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar preferred) Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Experience in a mid-size or large corporate environment Exposure to multi-entity or consolidated accounting Prior contract or project-based accounting experience Benefits: LHH Recruitment Solutions benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
