Job Description:
Revolutionize global tax strategy by providing critical
financial guidance and compliance support for AWS's international
operations. You'll be the key strategic partner transforming
complex tax challenges into seamless solutions that drive business
growth and minimize financial risk. You will be the critical link
between AWS's global business operations and tax compliance,
leveraging your expertise to navigate intricate international tax
landscapes. Your strategic insights will help protect the
organization from potential financial risks while enabling smooth,
compliant business expansion across multiple markets. Key job
responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive research on international
indirect tax regulations and their potential impact on AWS
operations - Provide strategic tax guidance to business,
technology, supply chain, and marketplace teams - Develop and
implement tax-compliant processes for new projects to mitigate
financial risks - Collaborate with external advisors and tax
authorities to ensure regulatory alignment - Create and deliver
training materials to enhance tax awareness across the organization

management. You'll dive deep into international tax regulations,
engage with diverse teams, and develop innovative solutions that
support AWS's global marketplace initiatives. About the team We are
a collaborative, globally distributed team of tax professionals who
share a passion for solving complex financial challenges. Our group

driving AWS's strategic objectives through expert tax guidance. - 5
years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience -
Experience working in a large public accounting firm or
multi-national corporate tax department - Experience researching
indirect tax issues including taxability of products and services.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field -
Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional
initiatives/projects, or experience in tax, finance or a related
analytical field - 3 years of maintaining and operating transaction
tax calculation software (e.g. Vertex) experience - LL.M.
(Taxation) - Knowledge of the Canadian Indirect Tax landscape

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
