Learn more about this agency Responsibilities - You will independently gather, input, extract, and analyze a considerable volume of information from a variety of data systems and programs to support the effective management of division resources. - You will collect, input, and analyze data for the laboratory annual operating budget. - You will perform material procurement vis shop store triggers and Job Material Lists for purchase of material and service for the division. - You will guide the management team and staff through the equipment procurement, receipt, and disposition processes by advising them of requirements and maintaining the SharePoint site dedicated to that purpose. - You will review laboratory documents to determine if specified administrative requirements are accurate and recommend document improvement. - You will serve as a contact point for laboratory forms control and development matters. - You will maintain office files and records per the division record file plan and obtain data required by laboratory staff and customers. - You will Perform timekeeping for the Division Head using the SupDesk program. - You will type and format a variety of memoranda, correspondence, and technical documents. - You will assist technical staff with service and maintenance contracts by validating laboratory contracting needs, ensuring required documents are comprehensive, identifying inaccuracies, and resolving discrepancies. GS-06 : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing administrative support utilizing office automation systems to track and maintain data, draft and edit correspondence, and procure office supplies and equipment in accordance with policies and procedures.
