Job Description:
Position: Reporting to the Director of Marketing &
Communications, the Digital Marketing Manager is an innovative
leader who drives digital performance and contributes technical
marketing expertise to support the overall growth of the
organization. This role is responsible for leading the development
and implementation of digital marketing solutions and campaigns to
advance the organization---s social cause and positively impact the
lives of veterans and military spouses. Reporting to the Director
of Marketing & Communications, the Digital Marketing Manager
optimizes digital performance to ensure brand growth and target
audience reach through strategic channel management; digital
campaigns, paid advertising, and SEO/SEM. Responsibilities:
Marketing Develop national marketing campaign plans and toolkits.
Lead ideation, implementation, execution, and measurement.
Collaborate with leaders, internal teams and agencies/ vendors to
create and ensure planned content is delivered and aligns with
overall marketing strategies across owned, paid, and earned
channels. Translates strategic initiatives into marketing plans.
Research, identify and recommend marketing strategies to target
populations. Develop comprehensive creative briefs and marketing
plans for business units and portfolios to advance mission impact,
brand relevance, and revenue goals. Establish clear KPIs for
marketing initiatives and own relationship with analytics to ensure
impactful testing agenda and measurement plan in place Extensive
experience planning, creating and executing PPC campaigns across
channels including Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and
Twitter Conduct and analyze insights from SEO/SEM, CRM,
sales/promotional tools to incorporate best practices and change
management for marketing/advertising campaigns Ensure campaigns
have cohesive GTM media strategies and manage cross-campaign
alignment to ensure all omnichannel media is working together
Personnel Management Manage and lead the professional development
of the Digital Marketing Coordinator Responsible for providing
performance counseling and incentive recommendations, hiring and
training of reporting employees, and establishing performance
measures, strategies, and processes to achieve departmental goals
Monitor and track team---s digital marketing efforts through
reports; establish expectations and/or goals for continued success
Teamwork/Collaboration Collaborate with internal stakeholders to
advance Hire Heroes USA---s position in a dynamic digital
landscape. In collaboration with the Development team, leads the
Direct Response team with support in the creation, implementation,
and approval of all direct response engagement activities. Desired
Skills & Experience Bachelor---s degree or equivalent experience in
a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design,
UX/UI Design or Advertising 5 years of experience managing
performance marketing programs, digital campaigns, and/or paid
advertising Strong understanding of direct response marketing
methodologies and key digital channels including display, shopping,
search engine marketing, and social media Detail-oriented and very
strong organization and project management skills with the ability
to work in a fast-paced environment and track/manage multiple
campaigns/projects at a time Passion for data-driven decision
making and creating compelling digital experiences Understand the
role culture plays in how a brand communicates to its community
Conceptualize and communicate basic design principles to create
compelling creative for social, email, and web Experience
developing and managing channel strategy and budgets Certifications
in Google Analytics and/or Google Adwords is a plus Work
Environment/Physical Demands General office environment;
temperature-controlled Routinely uses standard office equipment,
e.g. copiers, phones, computers 10% - 20% travel Sitting for
