difference in the world today!POSITION SUMMARYThe Coordinator,
Marketing and Communications is responsible for content production
in support of Forterra goals and mission and in line with the goals
of the Strategic Communications team. Key responsibilities will
include writing, editing and proofreading content related to all
aspects of Forterra's work.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSJob responsibilities
and tasks are stated in broad terms and are not intended to be a
comprehensive list.• Content Production• Utilize industry best
practices and familiarity with Forterra's mission to inspire ideas
and content• Support the development and execution of media,
marketing and communications strategies• Draft communications and
marketing content including social media, press releases, blog
posts, marketing and fundraising emails, website content, and other
materials• Copy-edit various marketing and communications materials
General Communications• Collaborate across Forterra teams• Support
the development and execution of communications plans, messaging
tools, and marketing guides across multiple topics in conjunction
with stakeholders and colleagues• Support and partner with
collaborative internal teams to execute content/editorial strategy•
Identify and monitor news related to Forterra and any emerging or
current communications opportunities and manage the organization's
response in conjunction with the communications team• Participate
in the development of strategy to communicate with local and
regional media• Help integrate digital and social media tactics
with overall communications strategy• Provide support for the
planning and execution of events within the organization• Support
consistent brand standards• Ability to be creative and not afraid
to share ideas• Ability to ability or drive to change/change social
media consumption• Ability to analyze engagement analytics and
provide accurate data• Other duties as assignedPREFERRED EXPERIENCE
AND QUALIFICATIONS• Minimum of four years of experience in
communications with an emphasis on complex, fast‐ track, or phased
project delivery• Ability to work and collaborate with a virtual
teamCOMPETENCIES • Excellent written and oral communication skills,
strong interpersonal skills, computer literacy, ability to
multi-task in dynamic work environment• Proven ability to manage
multiple projects in a collaborative environment as well as
prioritize needs based on priorities and feedback• Ability to
receive and respond to guidance and feedback from co-workers and
supervisors• Passionate about communications and eager to take
innovative approaches to communications• Familiarity with AP style
and using content style guides• Some familiarity with SEO
preferred• Experience with CRMs and email marketing platforms
preferred • Experience with paid digital ad campaigns preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS,PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND TRAVEL Until further
notice, this position is virtual but will require occasional site
visits utilizing safety protocols approved by Washington State.
Forterra will provide reasonable accommodation for people who are

from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a half-hour break, Monday - Friday.
