Head of Influencer MarketingExpedia Group is looking for the
next social media talent to head up their newly formed Influencer
Engagement team. If you are a self-starter looking for an

Reporting directly to the Global Head of social media for Expedia
Brands, this role will build the global influencer strategy across
Expedia brands, lead the development of a network of dedicated
content creators, and supervise the execution of influencer
engagement campaigns that drive brand love and awareness.You will
provide direction and strategic counsel across Expedia Group on how
to harness the power of content creators in authentic and organic
ways including affiliate programs, product offerings, and brand
campaigns.You will lead a team of specialists who will handle the
planning and execution of marketing campaigns that maximize
influencers across all touchpoints (social, digital, etc.) to
generate advocacy and build a strong community of advocates for our
brands.This position will help guide a team to ensure the team is
staying ahead of the curve on trends in consumer behavior, and
internet & social media behaviors while also serving on the social
media leadership team to help deliver an outstanding social and
influencer team.What you'll do:
- Responsible for effectively handling a sizeable marketing
budget to improve Expedia's Group investment in the influencer
space
- Develop and maintain all aspects of measurement and reporting
for influencer programs across markets and channels including
defining goals and objectives for the team and each campaign
- You will actively identify and problem-solve to enable the team
to deliver award-winning campaigns
- Lead a hard-working team to handle the end-to-end execution of
campaigns that support brand initiatives, working closely with
Brand, PR, and Social teams
- Make strategic decisions on partner support globally as well as
vendors needed to deliver results
- Work closely with markets and partners to ensure top of the
line execution of global campaigns that engage creators, ensuring
that any cross-promotional efforts are on-brand, strategic, and
handled properlyWho you are:
- Minimum of 8 years of digital and social marketing or public
relations experience
- Excellent project management, interpersonal, and follow-up
skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as
in a tight team environment
- Are creative, resourceful, and collaborative
- Strong writing and effective communication skills
- Experience in negotiating talent contracts and assessing
content values
- Understanding of how to create content that draws engagement
and starts a conversation
- Knowledge and experience optimizing content for social
media
- A passion for travel is a plus
- Resilient and constructive when faced with change, able to
shift approaches when needed in response to unexpected events and
circumstances
