CPGP Marketing works with key contributors to propel marketing strategy, drive brand equity and increase consumer engagement and top line demand for our products and experiences. The Social Media Marketing Strategy Manager supports the CPGP Social Media Marketing Strategy team in building and growing an engaged social community and implementing marketing strategies for CPGP's social accounts handles to support key franchises. We are looking for someone with social experience in the marketing and consumer products industry with experience shaping and executing an editorial and engagement strategy for CPGP social platforms. You will be much more than project managing our social handles, but will lean into creative, and hands-on skills to elevate our channels creatively. You will report to the Manager, CPGP Social Media Marketing Strategy. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with broader CPGP Marketing and Franchise teams to brainstorm and oversee the execution of social strategies, including identifying audience segments and editorial content approaches to make our socials the top social destination for consumers
  • Fulfill execution of strategies and social media campaigns, using social platforms as the tactical pull-downs, to achieve team goals, achieve audience building, and lead monetization across the global CP business
  • Support management of day-to-day of CPGP Franchise social handles (YouTube, IG, TikTok, FB, Pinterest) to ensure strategies are performing, achieving measurements, and positively improving audience growth and the business
  • Partner with Marketing Strategy, Franchise, COE, LOBs, and Studio partners to identify and agree on a disciplined approach for driving audience-building and engaging with important demographic and psychographic audiences across businesses around the world
  • Work with and integrate Consumer Insights/Marketing Analytics efforts into strategies to understand the consumer and measure the impact of main plans (YouTube channels and content)
  • Manage external agencies across CPGP social media handles including formulating contractual obligations, ensuring fulfillment of SOWs against defined campaign plans, monitoring for quality control, and providing creative feedback to provide top tier content
  • Oversee the daily scheduling, calendar management and final approval of social media posts, having vetted through appropriate channels
  • Be the subject matter expert to identify new opportunities to develop new ways to further engage with audiences and drive purchase intent through content, latest platforms , and platform functionalities
  • Support needs of global social media planning including communication, workflow, asset sharing in close partnership with regional teams align global priorities, fulfill specific local needs, and maximize resource and budget efficiencies
  • Curate social analytics and performance information, to inform social content strategy in real-time; share important data with stakeholderBasic Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of professional experience in social media, digital marketing at a network, studio or consumer products-based business. A demonstrated understanding of social platform tools and best practices across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest., and new platforms
    • Passion for social media and knowledge of how to use each platform to lead KPIs
    • Excellent editorial judgment, a passion for community engagement, and enthusiasm for the social ecosystem
    • A creative eye, with experience capturing social content, whether still photos or TikTok videos
    • Design experience building presentations and providing creative notes on content
    • An understanding of using insights and data to evaluate content performance to guide future creative decisions and strategies--- Experience managing external agencies/partners/talent---
    • Ability to work well within collaborative, diverse teams across several departments
    • A commitment to inclusivityPreferred Education:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience
      • Proficiency in social platforms
      • Basic Photoshop, video editing, and design skills
