Job Description:
Jackson Health Professionals, a leader in healthcare staffing,
is seeking a dedicated Special Ed Teacher to enhance educational
services in healthcare settings. This role involves designing
adaptive learning strategies and delivering personalized education
to meet the unique needs of students with various disabilities
within a supportive healthcare environment. The ideal candidate
will be passionate about fostering academic growth and emotional
well-being in a setting that integrates health and education.
Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) to meet the needs
of diverse learners with disabilities. Collaborate with healthcare
professionals to integrate educational and health plans. Assess
students' skills to determine their needs and to develop
appropriate teaching plans. Adapt teaching methods and
instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and
interests. Establish clear objectives for all lessons and
communicate those objectives to students. Monitor students’
progress and maintain accurate records of their achievements.
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with
disabilities. Ability to adapt teaching strategies and materials
according to individual needs. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Proficient in the use of educational
technology and digital tools for learning. Medical Insurance 401k
State certification in special education. Training in specialized
education methods and technologies preferred.
