Clinical Assistant Professor, Dental Pathways in Periodontics Description The University of Washington School of Dentistry, Department of Periodontics is committed to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive learning environment. We welcome applicants to apply for a full-time, 12 months service period, Clinical Assistant Professor dental-pathway position with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2019. The dental pathway track is not tenure eligible, and may have a three to five year term, to be reviewed for reappointment at the end of each term. The appointee is to be engaged primarily in teaching and clinical care. Scholarship may be more broadly defined, compared to tenure and research tracks. Responsibilities include clinical and didactic teaching in pre-doctoral and post-doctoral levels, continuing education, and clinical practice including IV sedation. Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications of the selected applicant. We are particularly interested in applicants with a diverse background and range of experiences. Qualifications Qualifications include D.D.S./D.M.D. or foreign equivalent, completion of a CODA-accredited advanced education program in periodontics, eligibility for certification as a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and ability to practice dentistry in the State of Washington.
