Boeing is looking for a Mid-level Engineering Test Pilot to join the Production and Engineering Flight Test organization. This job will be located in Seattle at Boeing Field. Position Responsibilities: Conduct initial and follow on production flights and customer demonstration flights on newly manufactured 737 airplanes, followed by growth into Engineering Flight Test and new product development Plans and conducts production and acceptance test flights Demonstrates or leads the production acceptance process. Identifies and documents flight deficiencies and coordinates resolution Plans, coordinates and conducts ferry, support and functional test flights on production and non-production aircraft Serves as Pilot-In-Command This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee Required Skills/Experience: Test Pilot School (TPS) graduate Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or STEM Field Experience piloting turbine powered aircraft Commercial certificate or FAA ATP with the appropriate endorsements Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in experimental flight test, functional flight test Experience on Boeing Aircraft Effective communication skills, the ability to build positive working relationships and have a demonstrated ability to work in matrix organizations with people at all levels Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
