Here's where you come in: We are currently seeking a--Project Engineer--to join our team as a member of our growing Technical Services PNW Consulting--division.--You will be joining an established and diverse group of people where you will be able to make an immediate impact. The PNW Technical Services team provides technical and strategic consulting services to make every building we touch more efficient. Our highly diverse group touches buildings of all kinds from schools to hospitals to downtown high rises with the intent to drive efficiency and optimization in every aspect of operations. To keep our delivery teams on track, our Project Engineers and project management team provide consistency and robust project management to ensure our financial, schedule, and delivery efficiency is streamlined both internally and for our clients. Project Coordination In this position, you will be tasked with supporting our technical services delivery team with financial management and scope coordination across a wide array of our consulting offerings. You will be responsible for job setup, financial projections, invoicing, processing change orders, management of billing phase codes, and project closeout. You will also be assisting with scheduling, issuing subcontracts, and assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reporting. This position supports a diverse group of delivery teams, by providing timely financial information and supporting the successful delivery of their scopes of work. As you gain experience and exposure to our diverse offerings, you will have the opportunity to manage small single offering projects to build on as you grow as a Project Engineer or Project Manager within the TS group. Communication In this position, excellent communication is essential. You will be asked to work closely with internal team members, both within our local team and across the organization. Working directly with our delivery and Project Management teams via email, phone, Microsoft Teams, as well as in-person meetings will be a daily responsibility.-- Project-specific responsibilities

  • Project Initiation-----Coordinate--with--Account Executives and Project Team to book and initiate the project in--accounting and Resource Management Planning systems.--Support the--Project--Lead--with the--set-up--of the--Project Life Cycle (PLC)--and associated tasks and resources.--Set up business--sales/construction-to-operations handoff and coordination.--
  • Project Planning-----Work with--Project Lead--and--team--to define--project timeline, define resources, perform project setup--and projections--in--accounting and Resource Management Planning systems.
  • Project Execution-----Support--Project--Lead to manage project--goals,--schedule,--milestones,--ensure project delivery is on time and on budget;--manage subcontracts,--coordinate with delivery team to--ensuring billings are sent and paid in a timely manner;--update financials and projections monthly;--assist with scope changes and change orders--as needed. Provide financial reporting--and updates to the project team and--management.
  • Project Closeout--- Ensure all scope items were delivered,--closeout meeting occurred,--connect with project lead--on--final billing sent & paid, closing any subcontracts, and completing final project closeout.--Assist--Program Manager/Account--Manager/Project--Director--in conducting--and incorporating--lessons learned after project closeout.-- What we would like to see from you:
    • BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or comparable degree-or equivalent work experience preferred.
    • Strong communication and organization skills
    • Project management skills including financial management and reporting
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred
