The products for this solution include NGINX Plus as an enterprise-grade API gateway and the API connectivity components of our management plane offerings: NGINX Instance Manager and NGINX Controller. You'll also promote API security use cases leveraging NGINX App Protect WAF and DoS.NGINX empowers creators of the new digital world:NGINX (engine-x) is the F5 product group behind the popular open source project "NGINX." We offer open source and commercial technologies used by developers and Platform Ops teams to deliver and secure apps and APIs. You distill, demonstrate, and articulate key benefits with content that explains the 'why' and 'how' to technical decision makers, while also highlighting value that resonates with business decision makers. Your day-to-day work includes:Collaboration and Enablement:

  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Corporate Marketing to plan and deliver technical content for a range of experience levels and audiences.
  • Empower sales engineers and solution architects so they can engage with technical audiences including Cloud Architects, API Architects, and DevOps teams.
  • Assist with market and competitive analysis.Technical Content Creation and Public Speaking:
    • Create labs and demo environments.
    • Write technical blogs, white papers, sizing guides, performance benchmarking reports, and ebooks.
    • Design and conduct product demos and technical webinars, speak at tradeshows and conferences.
    • Design and implement performance testing and competitive benchmarking scenarios.
    • Assist with development of product collateral such as website content, presentations, product overviews, datasheets, and FAQs.Qualifications:You have a combination of technical expertise, content creation experience, and communication skills, and you are passionate about software, platforms, and developer tools.
      • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud-native or software technologies and industry practices (such as DevOps and agile). Experience with load balancers, reverse proxies, API Management, API gateway and modern application architectures. Some hands-on experience NGINX as well as Linux, Bash scripting, Kong, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and JavaScript is preferred. -
      • Writing and Public Speaking: Able to create technical content that explains not just the "how" - but the "why" as well. Experience writing technical content for marketing or educational purposes in formats such as documentation, webpages, blogs, videos, and webinars. Comfortable with public speaking and experienced with developing engaging technical presentations or training sessions.
      • Interpersonal and Project Management: Strong communicator, collaborator, influencer, and negotiator with the ability to work across teams and organizations in a hybrid and often virtual work environment. A track record of executing projects on time and as a team.
      • Background: Experience in operations, pre-sales engineering, or professional services, combined with a minimum of three years in a technical marketing role. A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
