Salary $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Title REMOTE Safety Assessment Engineer
Location REMOTE (Work from home - WFH) - 50% Travel REQUIRED
Salary $70,000 - $90,000

Job Details
General knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA 79, NEC, and ISO standards
and apply them to assessing risk for machines and processing lines
to identify deficiencies in industrial settings.
Complete all safety assessment activities and reporting including
collecting data, developing scopes of work and budgetary
estimates
Develop budget estimation of hours for offsite report development,
integrator time, and drafting time of design concepts to develop
customer proposals.
Review collected safety assessment data to ensure all aspects of
the machine are compliant with appropriate regulatory and consensus
standards.
Develop clear and consistent scope of work documents using standard
or custom industry designs.
Participate in site safety orientations per customer
requirements.
Participate, as required, in all internal and customer project
meetings, including project planning and initiation, execution, and
close-out.
Provide information and support to design engineers to generate the
mechanical, electrical, and controls plans and drawings for the
proposed machine guarding solutions.
Responsible for assessment quality control; including completion of
the scope of work to project/customer requirements, meeting all
applicable standards, consistency of assessments, and
reporting.
What you need for this position
Bachelor's degree, engineering
3+ years of hands-on Engineering Experience
Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of electro-mechanical
systems
Ability to understand mechanical assembly drawings and
electrical/pneumatic schematics
