Lab Team is looking for an enthusiastic Experienced Electrophysics
Engineer (Radar Cross Section Analysis) based out of Seattle, WA or

multi-organizational team to create innovative solutions to meet
unique and challenging requirements in a laboratory environment.
The team takes requirements from programs and applies them to the a
full-scale laboratory test. Mid-Level Electrophysics Engineer will
be responsible for leading a team for setup, testing, verification,
and validation of cutting-edge low observable technologies. They
will also have an experienced background in general physics,
electromagnetics, and/or electrical engineering with an experienced
understanding of laboratory skills and knowledge of radar cross
section (RCS), RCS measurement and RF equipment, strong technical
judgment, and the ability to rapidly make and contribute to
decisions that balance the overall test program.This role will
require strong collaboration skills to work with an
interdisciplinary and multi-organizational team to complete a test
program that meets customer requirements. Must have organizational
skills and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and continually
changing environment. This position will also require the ability
to be innovative and develop new cutting-edge test techniques and
technologies to meet requirements of emerging customer
technologies.Position responsibilities
- Work with a team to lead setup, testing, verification, and
validation of cutting-edge low observable technologies
- Support the maintenance of existing radars and support
systems
- Support the design, build, fabrication, and test of future
radars and supplemental support systems
- Research and develop future radar capabilities and applications
for emerging cutting-edge, low observable technologies
- Research, develop, and maintain post-processing techniques
based upon ISAR imaging
- Support multi-organization management of a variety of programs
while working in an agile environmentThis position is expected to
be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work
onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability
to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government
requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret
Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an
accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry
- Experience or education with electromagnetic theory and
advanced mathematics necessary to perform or conduct
electromagnetic analysis, design, modeling, and testing
- Experience with one or more of the following programming
languages (C, C++, Fortran, Python, Matlab, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience with electromagnetic fields, circuit
theory, and wave propagation
- 5+ years of radar cross section experience, antenna, and/or
radome measurement techniques
- 5+ experience do you have with RF systems or coursework in RF
theoryPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active US Security Clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
- 5+ years of experience working the Radar Cross Section
industry
- Ability to define electromagnetic fields using mathematical
language to assess systems, sub-systems and component behavior
- Experience with electromagnetic theory and advanced mathematics
to develop and apply analytic tools to model and analyze
electromagnetic aspects of systems and components
- Experience with test facility, test instrumentation, and
calibration techniques
- Experience with planning, directing, conducting and documenting
RCS and antenna/radome testing as well as interpreting associated
test results to validate and verify measurements
- Experience with the development, production, certification,
qualification, quality assurance and acceptance testing of
materials, products and processes including governing regulations,
standards, and compliance requirements
- Experience with electromagnetic theory and requirements used to
review, interpret, and integrate technical data (such as design
details, test results, and analysis) from internal and external
sources to verify product performance and validate that
requirements are adequate
- Experience with computational electromagnetic tools (CST, FEKO,
HFSS)
- Experience with inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) imaging
techniques and other industry imaging toolsTypical Education &
Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through
advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in
engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
(e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work
experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and
experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In
the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not
required, accreditation standard.Relocation: This position offers
