potential as an employee.Position Summary:The Sr Network Engineer
ensures that the Enterprise Networks and its related services are
reliable, robust, and can scale by providing ongoing proactive and
reactive support.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Plans,
designs, and coordinates the various components of an enterprise
network system.Designs and configures an enterprise environment
with appropriate hardware, operating systems software, applications
software, and communications components to support business
requirements.Experience in designing network solutions that adhere
to well-known audit and compliance standards by establishing and
implementing best practices and standards across the global
network.Analyzes and resolves network hardware, software, and
communications problems using diagnostic software and/or technical
troubleshooting processes.Maintains reliable system performance
through active monitoring of logs and user-reported network
issues.Reassesses the effectiveness of network hardware, software,
and communications performance.Executes regularly scheduled
maintenance.Ensures proper disaster recovery procedures and
processes are in place.Create and maintain up-to-date
documentation/runbooks of enterprise network design and
procedures.Consults with users and program management conducting
information assessments to determine user needs and to define
network solutions to meet user requirements.Work closely with 3rd
party support vendors on any current or incoming
technologies.Provides training to others as needed.Network support
for cloud-based solutions. (Azure and AWS-Native/VMC) including
enterprise circuits and VPN.Support for highly critical
distribution center network across the U.S.Ability to install,
configure, and troubleshoot network hardware (firewalls, switches,
load balancers, WLC, WAP, and routers).(Re)Design, deploy, manage
and maintain multi-vendor, multi-protocol critical infrastructure
networks across the enterprise network.Requirements for
Position:Knowledge of enterprise computing environments.Knowledge
of enterprise level routers, switches, firewalls via CLI, routing
protocols, and circuit troubleshooting.Ability to process
information logically and solve problems.Ability to communicate
effectively verbally and in writing.Ability to establish and
maintain effective working relationships with others.Ability to
work in a team environment and actively participate in
projects.Ability to work in fast-paced high-intensity
situations.Ability to adapt and respond to changing work situations
and environments.Network Security experience is a plus.CCNP
desired.Position participates in an on-call rotation.Remote Work
options are available.Physical Demands:While performing the duties
of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with
hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently
required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently lift
and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up
to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception and ability to adjust focus.Work Environment:Work
