Whole Life Engineering (WLE) is responsible for ensuring our
products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable, and delivered on time.
WLE consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our
program offices and our customers. Our WLE disciplines participate
in the total life cycle of our products from conception to
deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the
following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and
Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) and Failure
Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
Engineering is responsible for all aspects of RAM / FRACAS activity
within the Raytheon Missiles & Defense business unit.
As a RAM / FRACAS Engineer, you'll ensure the performance
compliance of both customer and internal requirements.

Responsibilities to anticipate:
--- Perform FRACAS tasks, including trend analysis and failure
--- Assess RAM performance: MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), MTBCF
(Mean Time Between Critical Failure) and Ao (Operational
--- Define/allocate RAM requirements
--- Perform Reliability Predictions
--- Perform Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
--- Support Reliability Test Planning and Execution: Accelerated,
This role is ONSITE.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically Requires: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant
employment experience OR an Associates degree and 4 years of
relevant experience. In absence of a Bachelor's degree, 6 years of
relevant experience is required.
- Engineering experience
- Experience with reliability analysis, failure investigations,
and/or root cause/corrective action (RCCA).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US
citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a
security clearance. Qualifications We Value:
- Experience with Reliability Engineering Concepts
- Conducting data analysis and trending
- Defining / allocating RAM requirements
- Perform RAM trade-off analyses
- Experience assessing RAM performance of fielded equipment.
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Strong communication skills; Ability to present to diverse
- Ability & desire to work in large teams
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a US Government
security clearance within the first year of employment. What We
