the digital workplace team, you will be responsible for building
highly scalable, cohesive solutions and communicating status with
stakeholders. The lead engineer will be part of a nimble
engineering team, working on core services building the digital
platform that serves store facing applications. As a Engineering
Lead, you will:
- Design, architect and develop microservices
- Develop solutions using Nodejs, Java. Support C# based services
as well
- Implement solutions on Azure
- Leverage GraphQL to orchestrate data to apps
- Implement API Gateways (APIGEE, Azure API Gateway or
equivalent)
- Design solutions in leveraging SQL and No-SQL based
solutions
- Extensively work on CI/CD, DevOps and infrastructure. We'd love
to hear from people with:
- 8+ years of developing and supporting Application Development
(C# or Java or Nodejs)
- Demonstrate unrelentless customer focus
- Proven experience in a dynamic, agile environment
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Curiosity to learn and improve
- Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals including data structures,
algorithms, OO design and patterns
- Demonstrated ability to foster effective collaboration across
multiple technical teams and business stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Act in accordance with Starbucks guiding Principle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
