What You-ll Do
Takeactive part in designing, coding, developing, monitoring and
administeringof infrastructure acting as base for scalable and
highly availableservices.
Workclosely with development and operational teams, providing
consulting insystem design, capacity planning, integration with
logging/monitoringsolutions as well as deployment pipeline related
services.
Collaborateon existing automation solutions and search for new cool
and creative waysto improve processes, reliability and
velocity.
Participate in productivesystems support, practice incident
response and post mortems.
Lead the team to solidifyKubernetes offerings across engineering to
enable teams to deliver valuequickly without being a blocker.
Engage in and improve the wholelifecycle of services-from inception
and design, through deployment,operation and refinement.
Support services before they golive through activities such as
system design consulting, developingsoftware platforms and
frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
Scale systems sustainablythrough mechanisms like automation and
evolve systems by pushing forchanges that improve reliability and
velocity.
Design, write, and deliversoftware to improve the availability,
scalability, latency, and efficiencyof client's services.Manage
end-to-end availability and performance of mission criticalservices
and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Buildautomated
responses for non-exceptional service conditions.
Participate in service capacityplanning and demand forecasting,
software performance analysis and systemtuning.
Review and influence ongoingdesign, architecture, standards and
methods for operating services andsystems
Design, build and operate Cloudinfrastructure to enable reliable
and rapid deployment of microserviceswith effective monitoring and
resilient operations.
Minimum educationqualification
The ideal candidate will have:
System and Languages: Kubernetes, Containers, Clusters, Ruby, PHP,
Python, GO, .NET Core, PHP, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet
including Unix, Linux (BSD, Arch, Ubuntu, Gentoo), OpenVMS,
FlashCopy, HP/UX, Tru64.
Cloud Platforms: Azure or AWS
Basic networking knowledge ;TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS, routing and
HTTP.
Build and Release Management - ClearCase, GitHub, Apache, Make,
CMake, Jenkins
6+ years of relevant IT experience.
