Volt is immediately hiring for a Wire Design & Install Engineer 3 in Tukwila, WA and San Antonio, TXPosition Type: Full time, ContractDuration: 6 months As a Wire Design & Install Engineer, you will:Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Analyzes results and performs design reviews.Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews.Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets.Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.Works under minimal direction.The ideal candidate will have:Wiring IntegrationSystems ThinkingInnovation / CreativityEngr Knowledge/ComprehensionElectromagnetic Interference/EElec Parts/Mat/ProcessesDrawings/Data Sys and ModelsWire Design Experience tools - MAPPER, WIRSMentor Capital experienceWire design experience.Catia w/ aero experienceWire installation/routing (not mechanical parts)Pay Rate: $65-$70 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
