POSITION PURPOSE
The University of Washington Seattle, College of Education, seeks
to recruit a highly motivated Research Scientist to apply
artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques
to address critical issues in K-12 education settings. This
position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic
interdisciplinary team to integrate the latest advances in AI/ML
with education domain knowledge, specifically in STEM education, to
promote equitable and improved learning opportunities for both
students and teachers.

full-time, temporary position with a twelve-month service period.
Continuation of this position is dependent upon funding.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We seek a Research Scientist who will take the lead in the core
areas of developing and implementing key AI/ML initiatives: AI/ML
research in STEM education and EdTech product development. The
specific duties will include, but not be limited to, the following
areas.

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum
qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a
license/certification/registration.
