Job Summary
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will provide technical focus in the cybersecurity program and partner with IT and business stakeholders to help build and operate cybersecurity controls while also ensuring our colleagues and clients have safe and secure digital solutions to conduct business. This position requires a balance of technical acumen, customer focus, and urgency.

KEY FUNCTIONS: -

• 
  
• Develop, implement, and operate cybersecurity controls and processes to help safeguard our AWS cloud infrastructure and applications
  
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate security throughout the development and deployment process
  
• Provide expertise and guidance on cloud security best practices and industry trends
  
• Responsible for technical architecture and implementation of all cybersecurity including Cybersecurity Controls (firewalls, authentication, etc.) and Cybersecurity Systems (antivirus, content filtering, IPS, IDS etc.). This includes adjusting existing Cybersecurity infrastructure as well as evaluating new infrastructure to address new or increased threats/vulnerabilities
  
• Optimize and help contribute to the Bank's regulatory compliance posture as it relates to cloud and infrastructure cybersecurity controls
  
• Mentor junior cybersecurity colleagues to support the continued maturity of the cybersecurity program and employee skill growth
  
• Develop new detective and investigative capabilities using current technical solutions, and grow cyber intelligence capabilities and networks
  
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging threats and vulnerabilities in cloud security

  Qualifications
  Knowledge and Skills
  
  • 
    
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on AWS cloud security
    
  • AWS Certified Security Specialty certification is preferred
    
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and industry standards
    
  • Experience with AWS security services such as AWS WAF, AWS Shield, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Inspector, AWS Security Hub, etc.
    
  • Demonstrated understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks and industry best practices (e.g. FFIEC IT Handbook, NIST CSF, CIS, CSA)
    
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell
    
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
