Position Details:
Title: Marine Service Technician Mechanic (Level III)
Location: Woodinville, WA
Shift: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Compensation: $34 - $38/hr + Overtime (Average 15-20% overtime, yearly)
Benefits: Health and dental insurance for employee, 10 paid holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, 401k matching up to 3%, training provided, temporary and permanent visa support
Travel: Up to 30% overnight travel

Position Description:
The Marine Service Technician Mechanic (Level III) performs routine mechanical maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and assembly to include hydraulic systems and components. They must be proficient in building and repairing hydraulic units and be willing to conduct training classes. The Marine Service Technician will work in a dynamic work environment, learn new skills such as machining and applying marine grade paint schemes. In this position, expect to build and repair hydraulic units, machine parts and impellers to drawing specification, prepare job estimates, conduct maintenance training classes. Company will provide initial and continuous on-site and classroom training. Must provide own basic tools and must be able to travel nationally and internationally; a current up to date passport is required. This position averages 15-20% overtime yearly and must be willing to work any additional overtime hours.

--- 7-10+ years of mechanical experience; marine mechanical experience with turbines, engines, or waterjets is preferred
--- 5-10+ years experience in completing service reports for shop and field service
--- 5-10+ years of facility and shop maintenance, organization and cleaning
--- Strong leadership and communication skills, include the ability to teach and train; this position will be responsible for leading Mechanic I training classes; 5+ years in a supervisory position is a plus
--- Basic understanding of mechanical concepts; marine mechanical experience with turbines, engines, or waterjets is preferred
--- High school diploma or GED required.
--- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
--- Must have current, up to date passport
--- Ability to work aboard vessels and in confined locations
--- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
--- Ability to work unsupervised at off-site locations
--- Willing to learn new skills, to include: marine grade painting, grinding; waterjet repair; hydraulic unit building and repair; machining parts and impellers to drawing specification
--- Willing to traveling to off-site national and international service locations
--- Computer proficiency (MS Office-Word, Excel and Outlook)
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
--- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude
--- Ability to work independently and carry out assignment to completion within parameter of instruction given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
--- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully according to ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
--- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
--- Must be able to clearly communicate via telephone, in English.
