Team, Your ImpactThe Cloud Optics Applications Team's primary
functions is to help our customers design and integrate Marvell
technology into their networks.What You Can ExpectThis
customer-facing role involves close collaboration with internal
engineering teams and external customers to support product
introduction, technical specifications, qualification and
troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execution of test cases to support qualification of
Marvell Optical products.
- Automate in Python (or equivalent) and analysis of data
sets.
- Qualification and Interoperation testing of Optical modules
with
- Network equipment (Arista/Cisco/Juniper/Celestica/ etc.), and
other related equipment (traffic generators, open line systems /
optical amplifiers, scopes, analyzers, etc.).
- Interface with customers to test and debug technical issues
primarily in-person.
- Re-create, troubleshoot and root-cause Marvell optical module +
Network-level issues for internal engineering groups.
- Creation of customer-facing collateral (e.g. User Guides,
Application Notes, Firmware details etc.).What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields (Master's
degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience with pluggable optical transceivers
and/or data center hardware switches and routers.
- Strong hands-on knowledge in optical module qualification
either at OEMs or large-end customers.
- Proficiency in leading technical meetings, creating
documentation, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- 3+ years experience with automation in Python (or equivalent
language).
- Knowledge in: High-speed optical and/or electrical
transmission, firmware/software/operating system interoperation,
low-speed signals including I2C communications.Expected Base Pay
Range (USD)144,800 - 214,340, $ per annumThe successful candidate's
starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills,
experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on
market conditions.Additional Compensation and Benefit ElementsAt
