Complete installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment used in a food manufacturing facility. Install and maintain processing equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic system components, conveyor systems, etc. Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment. Read electrical blueprints and apply National Electric Code (NEC) through all industrial and construction work. Inspect and test circuits and wiring of electrical equipment for safety and functionality; isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical controls, industrial motor controls, and programmable logic controllers. Make mechanical and electrical repairs as required when servicing AC and DC motors, relay and control equipment, switches, circuit breakers, transformers, panel boards, and motor control centers (MCCs), etc. Calibrate instrumentation and sensors.
