Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) Location: Everett, WA 98201 Job Type: Travel Contract – 13 Weeks with possible multiple extensions Shift: Days/ Evenings/ Nights (5x8-Hour Shifts) | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM Start Date: July 14, 2025- TENTATIVE Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a travel contract at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett - Colby Campus, a Level II Trauma Center . Join a high-performing Sterile Processing Department (SPD) that handles an average of 65 surgical cases and 1,200 trays daily . We’re looking for a team-oriented tech who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience with trauma, implants, and a wide range of specialties . Key Responsibilities: Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments Prepare case carts for daily surgeries Reprocess flexible endoscopes and TEE probes Work across specialties: Neuro, Ortho, GYN, Robotics, Urology, ENT, Vascular, etc. Follow all hospital policies and sterilization standards (IUSS, Sterrad, SPM, etc.) Document via Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM) ; EPIC training provided Facility Information: Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center Location: 1700 13th St, Everett, WA 98201 Beds: 571 total across campuses Charting System: Epic Scrub Color: Any (except reddish orange) Parking: Free (facility-paid) COVID Vaccine: Not required; exemptions no longer accepted
