Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to support the Interior Responsibility Center - Washington (IRCWA) based out of Everett, Washington. The IRCWA team is seeking a collaborative leader with strong interpersonal and coaching skills to drive design, certification, and in-service support of cabin systems and components for: BCA (Boeing Commercial Aircraft ), BDS (Boeing Defense Systems) & BGS (Boeing Global Services). The leader in this role will champion One BPS culture, tools, and KPIs while ensuring cross-functional integration with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customer operations to deliver safe, compliant, and customer-focused interior solutions. Position Responsibilities: - Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines. - Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives. - Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. - Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. - Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. - Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - 5 years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment - 3 years of experience performing in a leadership role - 1 year of experience using the Boeing Production System - Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Previous Senior Leadership experience - Experience building relationships and partnerships with all levels of employees, including executives - Experience coaching and mentoring employees - Bachelor’s degree or higher Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
